Following & Followers

The follow system on ImgLink lets you connect with other creators and stay updated on their uploads. Follow users whose images you enjoy, and build your own following as you upload great content.

How to Follow Someone

1. Visit their profile page (imglink.cc/u/username)
2. Click the Follow button
3. Done! You're now following them

The button changes to Following to confirm. Click it again to unfollow.

What Happens When You Follow Someone

Notifications

When someone you follow uploads a new image, you'll receive a Notifications. This way you never miss new content from your favorite creators.

Profile Stats

The number of people you follow appears on your User Profiles as your "Following" count. Similarly, the number of people following you shows as your "Followers" count.

Viewing Your Followers

On any profile page, click the Followers count to see a list of everyone who follows that user. Each follower is shown with:

- Profile picture - Their avatar
- Username - Clickable link to their profile
- Bio - A snippet of their bio

Similarly, click the Following count to see who that user follows.

Your Own Followers

To see who follows you:
1. Go to your profile page
2. Click the Followers count
3. Browse through your followers list

You can click any follower's name to visit their profile and follow them back.

Building Your Following

- Upload quality content - Great images attract followers naturally
- Use Featured Images - Showcase your best work to make a strong first impression
- Engage with the community - Likes & Hearts and follow other creators, many will follow back
- Share your profile - Your profile URL (imglink.cc/u/yourusername) can be shared anywhere
- Post Status Updates - Keep your followers updated with status posts

Follower Notifications

When someone follows you, you'll get a notification with their username. Click it to visit their profile and decide if you want to follow them back.

Privacy

Your followers list and following list are public. Anyone can see who you follow and who follows you by visiting your profile page.
