Status Updates

Status updates let you post short messages on your User Profiles. Share what you're working on, announce new uploads, or just say what's on your mind. You can also attach images to your status posts.

How to Post a Status

1. Go to your dashboard
2. Open the Status tab
3. Type your message in the text box
4. (Optional) Enter an Image ID to attach one of your uploaded images
5. Click Post

Your status appears on your public profile page immediately.

Attaching Images

You can attach any of your uploaded images to a status post:

1. Find the image ID (the short code from the image URL, e.g. abc123)
2. Enter it in the Image ID field when posting a status
3. The image will appear embedded in your status post

This is a great way to highlight specific uploads and give them context with your text.

Where Status Updates Appear

Your Profile

Status updates are displayed on your profile page. Visitors can see your recent posts along with timestamps and any attached images.

Follower Feeds

People who follow you will see your new status posts. This keeps your Following & Followers engaged even when you're not uploading new images.

- Keep it short - Status updates work best as brief messages
- Attach your best images - Use status posts to draw attention to specific uploads
- Post regularly - Active profiles with regular updates attract more followers
- Engage your audience - Ask questions, share behind-the-scenes thoughts, or announce upcoming content
- Pair with Featured Images - Feature your best 3 images and use status posts for everything else
