ShareX Uploader Guide

Use ShareX with ImgLink for the fastest screenshot workflow:

1. Open ShareX Tool Page
2. Click Download ShareX Config (while logged in)
3. Double-click "ImgLink.sxcu" to import
4. Done - screenshots upload instantly to ImgLink

What makes this easy?

- API key is generated automatically when you download config
- No manual header editing required
- Output link is copied to your clipboard after upload

Recommended ShareX Settings

- After capture tasks: Upload image to host
- Destinations > Image uploader: Custom uploader (ImgLink)
- Hotkey: Print Screen

Link Output Options

Default output is the viewer link: "https://imglink.cc/i/{id}".

If you want direct file links, set URL output to:

"{json:url}"

Other useful placeholders:

- Thumbnail: "{json:thumbnail}"
- Delete URL: "{json:delete}"

Troubleshooting

Config file does not import

- Ensure ShareX is installed from getsharex.com
- Right-click the config and open with ShareX manually

Upload fails with 401

- Generate/download a fresh config from tools/sharex
- Old API keys may have been deleted in dashboard

Discord preview uses wrong image

ImgLink now serves a social-safe JPEG thumbnail for OG previews, so Discord/Twitter previews should match the uploaded image thumbnail.
