Browser Extension Guide

The ImgLink browser extension lets you capture screenshots and upload instantly.

Supported Browsers

- Chrome
- Edge
- Brave
- Firefox

Download

- Chromium build: Download
- Firefox build: Download

Install (Chrome / Edge / Brave)

1. Unzip the Chromium package
2. Open browser extensions page:
- Chrome: "chrome://extensions"
- Edge: "edge://extensions"
- Brave: "brave://extensions"
3. Enable Developer mode
4. Click Load unpacked
5. Select the extracted folder

Install (Firefox)

1. Unzip Firefox package
2. Open "about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox"
3. Click Load Temporary Add-on
4. Select "manifest.json"

Features

- Capture visible tab and upload
- Capture full-page screenshot and upload
- Auto-copy link to clipboard
- Link format options: viewer or direct URL

Shortcuts

- Visible capture: Ctrl+Shift+U
- Full page capture: Ctrl+Shift+Y

Setup API Key

1. Open extension settings
2. Get API key from Dashboard
3. Paste API key and save

Troubleshooting

Full-page capture doesn't stitch correctly

Some sites with aggressive sticky headers or lazy rendering may produce imperfect full-page output. Retry after waiting a second for page content to settle.

Upload unauthorized

API key is missing/invalid. Re-save your key in extension settings.

Want one-click "Add to Browser" without zip?

That requires publishing to Chrome Web Store / Firefox Add-ons. Once published, the same page can use direct install buttons.
